The painted china is fired in a kiln multiple times where the design fuses into the glaze and becomes a permanent part of the porcelain. Each layer is building depth and character to the painting. There is an inherent beauty in watching a piece come to life with each firing. The slick white porcelain transforms into a memorable one-of-a-kind heirloom which can be handed down through several generations.
