Vibrantly coloured porcelain and stoneware pieces for home and garden

Clay is the most amazing medium and Monique likes to explore the different possibilities to create jewellery, wall plaques, garden art and of course lots of functional and decorative ware.

Special effects are achieved by adding glass or hand-coloured clays. Her decorations are mostly inspired by nature’s colours and patterns. She likes to use vibrant colours and to experiment with new glazes.

She has been producing quality stoneware for forty years and is also now exploring pure and extraordinary porcelain, using different techniques to show off the ultimate whiteness, thinness and translucency of this material. What a delight!

Unique jewellery and one-of-a-kind mosaics

Linda is excited to be part of the studio tour once again. Linda uses a combination of unique wirework and beading of glass beads, semi-precious stones and recycled pieces to create trendy jewellery for people of all ages. This year, she is working on some new jewellery pieces, incorporating soldiered glass and fabric pendants. Linda also creates one of-a-kind mosaics using ceramic tiles and broken china. Stop by to see her hotplates, mirrors and serving trays. She will be giving hands-on demonstrations over the course of the weekend. Custom orders will be taken and ready for the holidays!

Clothing, household linens and baskets, all with something unexpected woven in.

Janet’s grandmother was a weaver who moved to Canada from Finland. There is a genetic connection here, how else could she explain her dedication to such an exacting and physically demanding craft? Janet has been a weaver now for 40 years and she is not bored with it yet. She is fascinated with the way that colour can play out through the interwoven threads, and how different weaves are useful for different projects. Each project Janet does suggests the next one to her, and she enjoys the challenge of undertaking special orders
